Dr. Erhardt's Revenge
Chapter 2- Joel's Escape

It was a nice day in Minnesota.  Dr. Erhardt approached a man on the street wearing a green jumpsuit.  The tag on the suit said Happy Temps.  Under that it said M. Nelson.

"Hey.  Are you Mike Nelson?" Erhardt said.

"Yeah... Who wants to know?" Mike said.

"I do.  You're about to go do a temp job for a Dr. Forrester right?"

"Uh, yeah.  He needs help with some sort of audit or something.  He didn't really tell the agency that much."

"Whatever, see this thing in my hand?" Erhardt said producing a flash drive in his hand.

"A memory drive?"

"Kind of.  All you have to do is put this inside the giant keyboard in Deep 13."

"Sounds easy enough, but what do I get out of it?"

"You'll get your payment after the deed is done.  I'll find you again.  I promise"

"Well, sounds sketchy but I'll do it"

"Good.  I'll see you later Mr. Nelson"

"Have a good day, Mr, uh what's your name again?"

"It's Dr. Erhardt"

"Well have a nice day Dr. Erhardt"

Mike Nelson walked to his temp job at Deep 13.  When he arrived, Dr. Forrester and TV's Frank told him what to do and he put the flash drive in the computer, and then got to work helping with the audit.  Meanwhile in another location, Dr. Laurence Erhardt was plotting his revenge.  There were two screens in front of him.  They both blinked on.  One had the bridge of the Satellite of Love, which Gypsy was currently on and the other had the main part of Deep 13.  That was where this whole plan had began.  Forrester and Frank walked onto the screen.  They were talking about the perfect way to kill their temp.  

"That's perfect..." said Erhardt.  "But how can I use that to my advantage?  I've got it!" he switched the feed so that the SOL could see the conversation.  

"OH NO! They're going to kill Joel! I have to save him!" Gypsy said.

"Perfect!  She'll send Joel out and then the experiment will be ruined!  And then I Dr. Laurence Erhardt will have my revenge!" Erhardt said laughing.

And lo and behold, that's what happened.  But something unexpected also happened.  Dr. Forrester had a backup plan.

"Say Mike, what size jumpsuit do you wear?" Forrester said.

"Uhh" Mike said.

"DAMN IT TO HELL!" Erhardt said.  "HE'S STILL DOING THE EXPERIMENT! But one day.  One day I will have my revenge.  I swear to that Clay.  I swear to that!"
